ROV Supervisors/Pilot Technicians (Triton XLX/XLR)

Maris Subsea requires ROV Pilot Technicians and ROV Supervisors with Triton XLX and XLR experience. Currently we have a high demand for high levels of experience with these vehicles. Scope of operations varies from contract to contract depending on client. Minimum of 1 years flying experience with Trton XLX and/or Triton XLR is ESSENTIAL. Please note our clients require employees with previous experience under working conditions therefore we will find it difficult to place newly qualified trainees. Contracts vary in location and duration, details including rates will be confirmed prior to assignment. Maris Subsea requests that all applicants supply relevant identification e.g. Passport plus further documents for working within the UK Sector (e.g. OPITO Survival and OGUK (ex-UKOOA Medical). All certificates must be minimum OPITO rated for use in UK waters (BOSIET/FOET) with relevant Oil & Gas UK Medical. We regret we cannot accept STCW-95 Survival only at this time. Maris Subsea requires ROV Pilot Technicians and ROV Supervisors with specific Eyeball class ROV experience e.g. Seaeye Surveyor Plus, Seaeye 600, Seaeye Lynx, Seaeye Tiger, Seaeye Falcon, Seaeye Cougar, Seaeye Panther, Super Mohawk, Discovery, Navaho, Mohawk, Comanche, Apache, Seapup, Solo. Currently we have a high demand for high levels of experience with these vehicles. Scope of operations varies from contract to contract depending on client. Minimum of 1 years flying experience with a specific Eyeball is ESSENTIAL. Please note our clients require employees with previous experience under working conditions therefore we will find it difficult to place newly qualified trainees in these roles. Multibeam Surveyor (Kongsberg EM1002/EM1000)

Maris Subsea requires a Multibeam Surveyor with sound experience of Kongsberg EM1002/EM1000 (calibration/operation) for a Client contract, vessel-based UK Sector Southern North Sea. Scope of work is MBES survey to take place in UK Sector Southern North Sea. Experience as a Multibeam Surveyor utilising Kongsberg EM1002/EM1000 (calibration/operation) with some exposure to Starfix.Seis although this is less important. Contract mobilises approx. 3rd February 2010 and duration is expected to be 2-4 weeks approx. All applicants must be available to mobilise for this date and remain available for the entire duration of the contract. Dive Technicians (Mechanical & Electrical)

Maris Subsea requires Dive Technicians with a mechanical or electrical bias for a Client contract, vessel-based UK Sector (UKCS). Scope of work is Mechanical and Electrical Dive Technicians for activities to take place on UK Continental Shelf. Experience as a Dive Technician utilising mechanical or electrical knowledge and experience is essential. Contract mobilises early February 2010 (one week) and duration is expected to be 2-4 weeks approx. All applicants must be available to mobilise for this date and remain available for the entire duration of the contract. Field Development Geophysicist (Seismic Interpretation)

Maris Subsea requires a Field Development Geophysicist with seismic interpretation experience holding some operator experience for a Client contract, office-based, Aberdeen. Scope of work: Field Development Geophysicist working in the Mature Field Development Team. The team looks after development study work across all of our Client’s North Sea operated producing assets. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team the Geophysicist will be responsible for delivering and coordinating all aspects of the geophysical work programme, including seismic interpretation, quantitative interpretation using AVO and Inversion products, depth conversion, and structural and stratigraphic input to reservoir modelling efforts. Additional responsibilities will include presentation and documentation of technical work internally and to field partners & DECC etc. Current ongoing study work includes infill target evaluation and static and dynamic modelling to target further infill production. Expertise in Tertiary Turbidite Fields would be ideal. Understanding of rock physics and AVO, depth conversion, static modelling and cross discipline awareness would be advantageous but is not essential. Geoscience graduate at minimum BSc level or qualified via experience to a similar extent. Seismic interpretation experience, preferably in field development with some operator experience. Expertise in Tertiary turbidite fields would be good along with expertise in rock physics and AVO, depth conversion, static modelling and cross discipline awareness. Contract is initially for 6 months although this may be extended. As this is a contract position applicants should be aware that it can be terminated at short notice. Maris Subsea requires a Data Processor with NaviEDIT for a Client contract, vessel-based, Germany/North Sea. Scope of work is Data Processor with NaviEDIT for as-laid surveys within the North Sea and off the German coast. Experience as a Data Processor utilising NaviEDIT is essential. Must have intensive experience working alone and under pressure. Contract mobilises 20th January 2010 and duration TBC – due to the nature of the contract and current weather conditions applicants must be flexible. All applicants must be available to mobilise for this date and remain available for the entire duration of the contract.
