| Job Details | We have a requirment for 2 experienced Saturation Supervisors to work onboard the Toisa Polaris UK sector. This will mobilise 17th April working until 1st May, however there is an opportunity for one of these positions to be on an ongoing basis. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for health, safety and welfare of offshore personnel, in accordance with Subsea 7 policy documented on Business Management System (BMS), implementing and monitoring safety management system, offshore diving system resource management and management of work execution. Sole responsibility for initiating diving operations and informing DP operator if status changes. Informs bridge of bell movements, divers leave and return to bell and in emergency's. May give instructions to bridge personnel for operational requirements of vessel in support of diving operation. Supervises diving resources operating on work site ensuring operating procedures adherance. If necessary, maintains communications with the Client's Offshore Representative, vessel / Installation management and onshore management. Ensures operation is completed timely in accordance with relevant proposal and contract, while remaining within constraints of Subsea 7 and client safety / operational procedures for all personnel and Dive System(s). Ensures all equipment and stores are in a condition satisfactory in performance, maintenance and calibration necessary to carry out the operation. May terminate operation if considered a malfunction of any part of diving system would prejudice the safety and / or satisfactory completion of operation. Ensures daily reporting requirements as laid out in Subsea 7 Saturation Diving Manual are undertaken. Collates necessary project information and obtains customer's representative approval where required. Briefs relief before leaving operations site and ensures all operational personnel receive sufficient coaching and supervision. May be designated as a witness for the competence assurance scheme and be responsible for assessing candidate portfolios and providing candidate feedback / advice regarding progression in competence scheme. Build portfolio of evidence for Competence Assurance Scheme and present completed portfolio to Subsea 7 competence focal point for assessment, verification and audit by client companies. |
