| Job Details | Our Client has confirmed project of approximately 10 to 15 days duration starting around the 2nd May, for the Normand flower, details as follows... At the moment we require a basic survey team of three(3) personnel, these would be: i. One (1) Senior Surveyor / PC ii. One Online Surveyor iii. One Online Survey Engineer or Surveyor There is the possibility of Processing / Charting being required onboard, this yet to be confirmed, if so additional personnel will be required and requested as and when we can confirm. The work is on a 24hrs basis. Please note the following: a. Vessel mobilisation will be in UK, probably Montrose b. Actual Project will be in Norwegian Sector of the North Sea c. Project involves visual inspection of sub sea structures and survey of short in-field pipelines (mostly buried) d. Operations will be mostly surface positioning plus positioning of ROV by USBL systems e. Pipelines will be surveyed using a Pipetracker mounted on the ROV f. It is likeley that short field report will be required and that the start of the main report will be started offshore as project is ongoing, it is expected that there will be several days of visual inspection etc with the survey team having long periods of reduced activity. g. There is the possibility of a processing / charting requirement, as stated above, to be confirmed. Systems: 1. Surface positioning will be Veripos / Verify DGPS 2. Online Navigation/Survey Software will be QINSy 3. Pipetracker type to be confirmed 4. USBL is vessel system (HiPAP) 5. ROV will carry standard sensors, Gyro, Pitch and Roll plus pipetracker 6 There may be a requirement for interfacing to Video Overlay also. 7. Any charting / Processing package would be based on QINSy plus AutoCAD Interested candidates, please forward your CV and availability. |
